We’re here to make the process easier, from understanding your borrowing options and finding the right mortgage through to getting you into your new home. Our team will guide you every step of the way, with clear advice and support throughout.

A home to make your own

New Build Specialist

Buying a new build home can be exciting, but understanding the different schemes and mortgage options available can be confusing. As new build mortgage specialists, we have extensive experience helping buyers navigate schemes including Shared Ownership, Shared Equity, Help to Buy and the First Homes Scheme.

We can also advise on how builders’ incentives and contributions may affect your mortgage and affordability, ensuring you have a clear understanding of your options. We work with a wide range of lenders to find the right mortgage for your individual circumstances, making the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

Whether you’re local to us or further afield, you’ll receive the same personal service, clear advice and support from our experienced team.

Schemes are subject to eligibility, property location and availability. Available schemes include Shared Ownership, Shared Equity, Help to Buy, First Homes, Own New and New Build Boost. First Homes is available in England only. Help to Buy in England has closed to new applications. Check current details for Help to Buy – Wales and the First Homes Scheme.

Remortgages

When your current mortgage deal is coming to an end, it’s important to understand what options are available to you. We’ll look at the mortgage market to help ensure you’re on the most suitable interest rate available for your circumstances, while also considering your wider needs. Whether you’re looking to release equity, consolidate existing borrowing or simply find the right mortgage for your next stage, we’ll explain your options clearly and guide you through the process.

You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you remortgage. Think carefully before securing other debts against your home. Extending the repayment term may increase the total interest you pay.

Buy-to-let

Whether you’re an experienced landlord, looking to expand your property portfolio or considering your first buy-to-let investment, we can help. We can advise on a range of buy-to-let options, including purchasing through a limited company and raising funds from an existing property, providing expert guidance throughout the process.

Some forms of Buy to Let mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Second property

Already own a property and thinking about buying another? Whether you’re purchasing a second home, a holiday home or an additional property, we can talk you through your borrowing options and help you understand what may be possible based on your individual circumstances. We’ll explain how owning an existing property may affect your mortgage options and guide you through the process, helping you make an informed decision.

Lending into retirement

Planning to borrow later in life or continue your mortgage into retirement? We can help you understand the options available and find a solution that fits your circumstances. We can advise on a range of later-life mortgage options, including Retirement Interest Only (RIO) mortgages, and help you understand how factors such as your retirement income, pension and existing commitments may affect your borrowing. Whether you’re looking to purchase a new home, remortgage or release funds, we’ll provide clear, straightforward advice and guide you through the options available.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Looking after what matters

Protection & insurance

Life cover

Protecting the people who matter to you is an important part of planning for the future. Life Cover can provide financial support for your loved ones if you were to die, helping with things such as the mortgage, household bills and other financial commitments. We’ll take the time to understand your circumstances and discuss the different options available, helping you find protection that is suitable for your needs and budget. Our aim is to make sure you and those who depend on you have the right level of financial protection in place.

Critical illness cover

Being diagnosed with a serious illness can have a significant impact on both your health and your finances. Critical Illness Cover can provide a lump-sum payment if you’re diagnosed with a specified condition covered by your policy, helping to ease the financial pressure at what can be a difficult time. Some policies can also include Children’s Critical Illness Cover, providing an additional level of financial support if a child is diagnosed with one of the specified conditions covered by the policy. We’ll explain the different types of cover available, what conditions are included and the level of protection that may be suitable for your circumstances. Our aim is to help you put protection in place that gives you and your family greater financial security if the unexpected happens.

Income protection

Your income is one of your most important financial assets, so what would happen if illness or injury meant you were unable to work? Income Protection can provide a regular income, usually a percentage of your earnings, if you’re unable to work due to illness or injury covered by your policy. This can help you continue to meet your mortgage, household bills and everyday living costs while you’re unable to work. We’ll explain how Income Protection works, including the different levels of cover, waiting periods and policy terms, and help you understand what may be suitable for your circumstances. Our aim is to help give you greater financial security and peace of mind, knowing that you have a plan in place if you’re unable to earn your usual income.

Buildings & contents insurance

Your home is likely to be one of your biggest investments, so having the right insurance in place is important. Buildings Insurance protects the structure of your home, while Contents Insurance covers the belongings inside it, helping protect you financially against a range of unexpected events. We can help you understand the cover available and what may be appropriate for your home and circumstances. Whether you’re buying a new property or reviewing your existing cover, we’ll help you make sure you understand what you’re covered for and have suitable protection in place.

Insurance policies have terms, conditions and exclusions. Cover depends on your circumstances and the policy selected.
